OUR ESTATE · WESTERN AUSTRALIA
Shaped by the coast.
Rooted in place.

Breton Bay is a family-owned agricultural estate located on Greenwood Coast Road, within the Shire of Gingin, Western Australia. Situated approximately 2.5 kilometres from the Indian Ocean coastline, the property is owned and operated entirely by the Sherman family.
Our estate is used for a range of agricultural activities, including pasture-raised poultry, beekeeping and raising goats for our family’s own use. These activities form part of the everyday work involved in maintaining and operating the property.
Alongside caring for our animals, we maintain the paddocks, manage the land and continue improving the property as our agricultural operations develop.
For our family, Breton Bay is both a working agricultural property and a place we take pride in maintaining. We remain directly responsible for its daily operation and future development.
Our family’s agricultural history extends to the town of Blato, on the Croatian island of Korčula, where viticulture and winemaking formed an important part of our family’s activities.
Our agricultural background includes cultivating vineyards, tending grapevines and harvesting grapes for wine production, with the finished wine distributed throughout Blato and the neighbouring town of Vela Luka. This work was part of our family’s agricultural history in Croatia.
Today, our family’s involvement in agriculture continues through Breton Bay, our estate located in the Shire of Gingin, Western Australia.
Breton Bay is owned and operated entirely by the Sherman family. From caring for our animals and maintaining the property to overseeing our agricultural operations, all aspects of the estate are managed by our family.
As we continue to develop Breton Bay, our focus remains on maintaining a family-run agricultural farm, taking pride in our work and remaining directly involved in its day-to-day operation.
While Breton Bay is known for our pasture-raised eggs and honey, our activities on the property extend beyond these products.
We also raise goats for our family’s own use. Looking after them forms part of our regular routine, alongside caring for our poultry, tending to our beehives and maintaining the property.
Our family undertakes the daily work involved in running the farm, including animal care, maintaining paddocks and managing the practical requirements of our agricultural activities.
Having a range of animals and farming activities on the property is something we enjoy, and we take pride in maintaining Breton Bay as a working family farm.
Our intention is to continue developing Breton Bay and improving our agricultural operations over the coming years.
As a family, we take pride in managing the property ourselves and maintaining direct involvement in the work carried out here.
We hope to continue building Breton Bay as a family-owned and operated estate, while preserving the rural character of the property and maintaining the approach to farming that we value.
